Samsung Announced it's latest Android Flagship for 2013, The Samsung galaxy S IV
Galaxy S III has been a great success and has made it self a market leader, beating the Apple's iOS King the iPhone 5.
if we look at the previous flagship phones offered by the Korean Giant, we found out that the company changes the design every year and goes in a new direction, this time though, they stick to the design but update it and make it more mature.
And of course it will offer some crazy specs to go with that will set a new benchmark in the Android Realm.
The international version will Run the latest Exynos Octa 5410 Chipset. which will run not just one but two CPUs, each running 4 cores. For usual tasks the Phone will use the ARM Cortex A7 CPU, which is a low power CPU and when you open the tapes it will switch to the latest and greatest ARM Cortex A15 cores.
For graphics we shall get the Power SGX544MP3 GPU with 3 Cores(I believe), These are promissing specs, the low power cpu will improve the battery life under normal use and the power CPU will offer new benchmark scores for the Geeky fellows. We also get 2GB RAM to help with the multitasking.
And we also get 16/32/64 GB Memory Variations with Micro SD expansion of course.
Then we get the brand-new Gorgeous 4.99" 1080p Super AMOLED Display with Pentile matrix, but at 441ppi, things don't matter. Having a Super AMOLED Panel with such HUGE resolution is sure to keep the Galaxy S tradition going, which is that the screen is so good that nothing else will matter.
The screen is supposedly protected by Corning's latest Gorilla Glass 3 offering. Which is more robust than anything else in the glass market and reduces glare as well.
We get the new 13 Megapixel Camera with better performance. it can shoot Photos and 1080p video simultaneous as well has HDR. Front Camera is not 2 megapixel with ability to shoot 1080p.
The body is still Plastic but now it has a nice pattern to it, still it doesn't look nearly as classy as HTC One. but considering the old phone, the texture is a step in the right direction.
The backcover is removable and reveals a 2600mAh Battery, which is a must have for such a big and high res screen and all that horsepower.
The Device will run Android Jellybean 4.2.2
Alongside the new Hardware, Samsung is introducing the Smart Pause function which pauses the video when you are not looking at it, and smart scrolling that scrolls the page when you tilt the device while looking at the webpage or a PDF document. We also guess niftly new features such as the Air gestures, which I believe are somewhat variation of what the NOTE 2 offered.
Samsung is also offering it with Qi Standards which allows it to be charged wirelessly off a Qi Standard Accessory Charger.
And ofcourse we also get what a modern smartphone needs,
-Wi-Fi
-GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS
-Gyro Sensor, Accelerometer
-Digital Compas
-Ambient Light and Proximity Sensor
The device is set to release in April. We'll post more stuff when we get it.
