Stock ROM for Qmobile A2 - Free Download

Dear Pakistanis and Specially Noir A2 Owners!!!

Finally I have managed to obtain a stock ROM backup from a friend, Zain Malik, who kindly offered his help. So for those of you who have messed up their Qmobile Noir A2 after rooting, this is a get out of jail free card for you guys. Download and flash via ClockWorkMod Recovery.

Warning: Although this is a 100% backup of Stock ROM for Qmobile Noir A2, "I WILL NOT" take responsibility if something goes wrong with your phone. Try it at your OWN RISK.

How to use it (method updated by LPCRJ™ of XDA developers):

  1. Firstly create a folder clockworkmod on sd-card (ignore this stuff if there is one already)
  2. In the clockworkmod folder make another folder called backup (Again ignore if its present)
  3. Create a new folder in backup and name it  "2013-03-25.13.22.03" (without the qoutes)
  4. Once created extract the ROM package which you have downloaded and copy all the files in the "2013-03-25.13.22.03" you just created in your sdcard.
  5. Reboot into recovery and go to "backups and restore" >> select "Restore" and then select the "2013-03-25.13.22.03" folder. 
  6. Reboot and enjoy your unbricked phone :).

      woh is liye kyun k this is the STOCK ROM...meaning the rom which is made by the company. So it doesnt have any changes...the purpose of this rom is to revert to factory settings when things go bad :)

      remove the battery of your phone and note down both the IMEI numbers on a paper. Download MTK Droid Tools and then connect your phone to the pc with USB cable. After the Droid tools have detected your phone. Replace the IMEIs in the main Droid Tools menu

    MTK Droid Tools says "changes will come into force after reset" what does it mean plz tell me my A2 shows still invalid imei on reboot after your above mentioned procedure..i'll be grateful to u

    1) Note down both IMEI number from back of your phone by removing battery.

    2) Open the MTKDroid tool

    3) Connect your to phone to usb cable and wait for it detection in software.

    4) Now Select Replace IMEI. Enter both of your IMEI into IMEI1 & IMEI2 respectively.

    5) Reboot your phone.

      this method worked for me before...however you are welcomed to try this method...it works for all MTK chipsets

      Dear Athar...

      it would surprise you that an ICS ROM for A2 has been made..but it is highly unstable...and we cant risk launching it with that fault...the guy who made is trying to make it work properly....but its very difficult at the moment

      it is very unlikely that the problems will be solved with it in one day or week as this takes a lot of time....also the guy working on it is a student, so he has to give time to his studies as well...he is only 15 :) but the amount of expertise he has shown till yet ...i am confident that he will overcome this obstacle very soon

      here is your solution...also confirm that your Noir A2 isnt the V3 edition...it can be found written under your battery...this backup doesn't work on Noir A2 V3 edition.

    i have done my phone dead with this rom. invalid IMEI. Have done every try but this is still invalid. what to do? plz help me. even i have gone to a shop and he tried his best but not use of any trick, even when i check out IMEI Its shows correct but no sim card is working on it. everyone who wants to try this rom must think about us before doing it. i am in a great trouble with this rom.... help

      First of all...read the warning in the post...secondly replace the IMEI with MTK Droid Tools ...and thirdly...if you don't know what you are doing with your phone...do not modify it

      changed the IMEI with MTK tools . it shows correct when i check it with *#06#. but status bar is still showing invalid IMEI. NO sim card is accepted. whats wrong?

    i replaced both the IMEIs . after reset it shows correct IMEIs without simcard by pressing *#06# same as writtening under battery. but in notification bar there always shows up that INVALID IMEI. As soon as i inseret 1 sim card in in sim slot .it catches no singal and then by pressing *#06# it shows IMEI1 invalid and second correct. do u get me hasan?

      your phone's IMEI seems to change with radio package insertion or SIM...try that method...it solves the problem

      kindly make a backup of your own ROM from CWM recovery before flashing the custom ROM. Other backups can damage your phone.

      ye to bad scene kar diya bhai aap nay...this backup was strictly for A2 not A2 V3 edition. Aap ka koi previous backup nahi parha ?

    meray pass qmobile A2 v.2 hai main nay pali bar stock rom bulkul sahi install karli thi but 2nd time md5 missing ka massage aaraha hai
    main nay but try ki haan but kowi faida nahi hova
    phir thounderstrom1 ki custom rom install ki us se sirf 1 network working condition main hai but wifi not working status bar main wifi show horaha hai but working main nahi hai

      When you root a NOIR or any other CHINESE phone...it is very difficult to restore it...that is why we literally BEG you to make backup before trying anything fancy...If you try a master reset on a rooted phone it will instantly brick it. I can not think of any other method other than the ones i have mentioned because it normally works for everyone!!! have a read at the link below.
