Jelly Bean ROM for Qmobile Noir A8

Dear Pakistan,

Its election day and I just came back from casting my vote. I am feeling great and thought that on this special day I should share something special for the Qmobile Noir A8 owners. What is it you ask? Well its a customized Jelly Bean 4.1.1 ROM for Qmobile Noir A8 made by folks over at WinGoku Blog. (RESPECT!)

They have added some very neat tweaks and also removed some bloatware which will make the ROM smoother and much faster than the stock.

The tweaks and stuff we added in this ROM:

• Sony Bravia Engine for better graphics
• Memory Enhancement Scripts
• Better Battery performance
• Nova Launcher
• Fast Boot compared to the stock JB
• and much more...

How to Install:

You will need a rooted Noir A8 with ClockWorkMod recovery. If you don't have it then root it first by following instructions in this link and then install CWMR on it by following instructions here. 

After doing that follow this procedure to install the WinGoku ROM.

Warning: This ROM has not been tested by me and you will be installing it on your own responsibility. 

• Download ROM from this link.
• After download, put the downloaded Zip file in the main area of your SD Card. DO NOT EXTRACT IT.
• Reboot into recovery by pressing volume down and power button at the same time.
• Go to backup and restore and create a backup. This will save you if things go wrong.
• After making the backup, Wipe Data, Wipe Cache. Go to Advanced menu and Wipe Dalvik Cache.
• Go Back and select "Install ZIP from SD CARD" >>> "Choose ZIP from SD CARD" and then select the ROM ZIP folder which you placed earlier. Select YES from a long list of NO.
• ROM will flash and phone will restart. First boot normally takes 3 - 5 mins to don't worry.
• Thats it ! you have installed the WinGoku's JB ROM.
